Is Santa Claus a secular answer to a sacred question?

Think about it:

-Santa Claus comes every Christmas Eve.
-Jesus was born on Christmas Eve.


-Santa Claus knows all about whether or not you've been good or bad.
-God knows everything (therefore, whether you've been good or bad).

-Santa Claus leaves the naughty kids out on Christmas morning.
-God leaves the naughty people out of heaven.

-Santa Claus brings gifts.
-God gives us what we need.

-We write to Santa when we want something.
-We pray to God when we need/want something.

-No one ever sees Santa Claus.
-No one ever sees God.
-But that doesn't stop anyone from believing in either one.
