Some things I've learned so far this weekend

The best movie that will ever make me cry more than once and will probably make me cry everytime I see it (other than Remember the Titans) is Rent. I recommend you all see it. I haven't seen the actual musical and if you have, I envy you.

If one person in Newberry has a party, you can pretty much guarantee anyone you had hoped to see this weekend will be at that party as there is no one in this town. (I exaggerate, of course, but you get my point)

Domestic violence sucks. The song Face Down by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus sums up anything I would ever want to say about it. Does it really make you feel big and bad because you can beat up someone weaker than you? Do you really expect that person to follow you around forever? One day, they're gonna find their strength, leave your ass, and throw you in jail. Learn this. Stop this. Kay, thanks.

I've learned that New York is the place I want to be. Either there or Europe, Italy or England, specifically. But I think I'll start with New York.

I've also learned that I tend to obsess over movies.
