Current mood: crazy
Hey everyone! Me and Ally just got back from the Newberry-Emerald football game. YEAH ALLY'S TAKING OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No she's not! Screw you!!!! Just kidding, Kat i love you. . . pickle on a stick, yes!!!!!! Okay, we're watching Whose Line...you have to be here. They're doing props on Whose Line. These guys are crazy! We've decided that one day we're going to talk in all questions too-so whenever that day comes...you'll know what we're doing. Noooooo!!!!!! THAT WAS ALLY'S IDEA!!!!! COPIER!!!!! *throws something* All right, once again you had to be here! We were taking this quiz thingie to determine how well you held your anger and each question had an answer like, "Throw your desk against the wall" "Throw your dad against the wall" "Throw your beer at the tv" and the last question: "This quiz sucked (throws computer)" IT WAS FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! (and anyone who knows me knew my honest answers) Well, considering when you got mad at a volleyball game and punched a locker later on in the locker room and crushed your hand...wonder what Ally would've picked? I didn't crush my freakin' hand. . . there was just a locker imprint on it for a week. computer hog!!! (getting angry). . . Don't throw my computer at the wall! I love this show!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!! NOOOO -- don't touch the computer Kat!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO You're really emphasizing your point aren't you? The dyslexic theater performance of "bitty bitty chang chang" Here, you can have the computer back if you're gonna get all you know mad at it. Computers cost a lot, you know Ally. HAAAA-- you think yours would be faster. . . Well now that we've got it going it's a little bit faster. People reading this probably think we're stupid and have no lives. Just to let you know...we have lives. Yes -- the stupid's all you. Hey now. . . Let's start breakin' shit!!!!!!!!!! and then we can go on a boxer raid!!!!!!! Of who, your dad? Hey now, I meant LEAVE THE HOUSE!!! Oh yeah, and unless you're Lily, Sybil, Jesse, Josh, Mac, or Patrick you won't get this (who gives a crap?!?) and think we're just making this stuff up-but it actually happened. TRUE STORY, TRUE STORY!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! SKITTLES, YEAH!!!!! The sad thing is Josh probably has really good aim. And then Jesse ate it. Pooooooor Jesse. And Josh learned nothing about throwing projectiles down people's. . . shirts. . . Projectiles, hmmmm. . . *throws remote control at TV* STUPID COMMERCIALS!!!!!!!!!!!! Just watch out tomorrow-they have all sorts of "projectiles" to be thrown. LoL. No low cut shirts! I hope you learned your lesson. Oh, and watch out with throwing those pen tops too. Dude, I love projectiles. . . hmmm. . . and inanimate objects. . . maybe I should go yell at them!!! what? nothing. . . nothing serious. . . just an urge to go scream at inanimate objects. Just like my urge to go stand out in the rain. . . At least you weren't like Jay and had on a white t-shirt. The crazy bastard. It was pourin rain! HEHE. . . my mind is blank. . . great. . . i'm gonna sing. . . please don't...I've had enough problems this evening-my dad wouldn't let me go to the lighthouse. Boo hoo. . . my goldfish died. . . not really. . . we tried to kill my goldfish but it just won't die. . . mine's so happy...right here in my pocket. *crazy laughter that really doesn't have any funny thought about it* I like pocket goldfish. . . and throwing stuff. . . you need to stop these obsessions with throwing things. I know you don't think you're gonna hurt someone else again...but it could happen. That's the point, Kat. . . I'm a pitcher. . . GOREBELSSOFTBALLROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SALUDA PIZZA HUT ROCKS, TOO!!!!!!!!!! No it's not b/c it doesn't deliver to football games Ally's gettin' sleepy. . . Ally go byebye. . . I guess Kathryne go byebye too. . .

girls, boys. . .apples, trees
Wednesday, November 30, 2005
Current mood: touched
Girls
are like apples
on trees. The best ones
are at the top of the tree.
The boys dont want to reach
for the good ones because they
are afraid of falling and getting hurt.
Instead, they just get the rotten apples
from the ground that aren't as good,
but easy. So the apples at the top think
something is wrong with them, when in
reality, they're amazing. They just
have to wait for the right boy to
come along, the one who's
brave enough to
climb all
the way
to the top
of the tree.

so it's been exactly one year since i heard those words that changed mine and my class' entire lives...
it's still so hard to believe that something like that could've happened to us. i mean, you hear about it happening other places, but never to us. then, something happens and you realize how fragile life is and how quickly it can be taken from you.
this weekend i was the exact same place i was last year. everything seemed to remind me of what happened. there was a church there called red bank methodist and mr. lucas had gone to red bank baptist... both in lexington. then we discovered of another youth group who told us that if they won the money raising contest their adult would dye her hair purple... and mr. lucas had promised us if we won more games this season than last year, we would get to dye his hair pink.
it was so weird not seeing him on the sidelines this season too. i know we won more games this time around, but it seemed like i had more fun last year, not winning a game at all with mr. lucas as our coach.
i was terrified that when i came back my mom would tell me that someone else had been in a car accident, but thankfully she didn't, so that's good.
so, now that i've had my whole little reminisence of mr. lucas, i'm gonna go.
much love everyone,
Kathryne

it's been one full week and guess what? i totally forgot to put a blog up here about springmaid!! crazy, i know!! how can it be?? haha. anyways, we had so much fun... much to my surprise. i thought since it was only gonna be me and sybil from last year going, that we'd just do what we absolutely had to... you know, don't break the rules or anything. haha, yeah right!! like we can go there without breaking a rule!! lol. yeah, be in our rooms at 11? you must be kidding... and i'm pretty sure soccer in the yard thingie after 11 is breaking that... if that isn't, sneaking past some random guys rooms and then getting caught by them definately is!! lol. anyway, if any of you guys from last year (and i mean jesse who wouldn't go because jake did and josh who wouldn't go because jesse and marlowe and everybody else wouldn't go and mac not going wait, why didn't mac go? anyway, and patrick having to take the sat... yeah, like that's gonna help you) anyways, you guys really missed out... but i guess if you'd came then we wouldn't have met my sexy or sybils sexy... we would've met mary alex's sexy because he's just cool like that and was on stage... so anyways that was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun and we all definately have to go back next year... you know who i'm talking to!! lol!! so many inside jokes are coming away from that trip. sarah, i don't think we were supposed to talk to justin that weekend!! lol!! sybil... just crazyness... nuff said. mary alex, i think it's laffy taffy time! lol!! i'll give you a quarter if you play a country song!! jake schooled all of them in soccer!! and he ate his jello... and it was good!! haha!! how tall are you?? mary alex called his room on the first try... you are so psychic!! haha... anyways, for those of you that didn't go, you're probably like what? but those of you that did are laughing, come on, i know you are!! lol!! anywho, this thing's long enough so i'm gonna go!! much love everyone, Kathryne :)

So, there's this guy... we'll call him "Mark." Well, "Mark" has been my best friend since, well, forever. And one day, "Mark" decides to tell me that he's thought of me as more than a friend before but after I told him that I'd never thought of him that way, "Mark" said something like, "Well, I don't think of you in that way any more." So, during a sport last year that I partook in, I told this girl, we'll call her "Blair" about the conversation with "Mark." "Blair" said, " 'Mark' was probably trying to figure out if you liked him or not, that's why he asked your opinion before saying how he felt now." This made sense to me. So, for the next few months, I was going back and forth between how I felt for "Mark."
Now, the most confusing thing about "Mark" is that if I'm the only girl around he's flirty and nice and really cool. But if another girl is around, "Mark" is automatically all over them and won't give me the time of day. And now, "Blair" is one of those girls that "Mark" is all over when I'm around even though "Blair" has a boyfriend.
So, I guess what I'm really trying to say is that I do like "Mark" as more than a friend, but with girls like "Blair" around, I'm not sure that I'll ever be able to talk to him alone about these feelings. And even if I did, I'd probably chicken out. But, the next time I try to tell "Mark" about what I'm feeling, I'm not going to chicken out. I'm just anxious to see what "Mark" will have to say.

Does anybody notice how now-a-days it seems like the phrase "I love you" gets said more and more? It used to be that you said that and really meant it... it was a big thing. Now it's just like one of those little things you say like "See ya!" or "Call me" or something of that nature. And then there are these couples who have been dating for less than two months and you see in their profiles "I love you so-and-so... you are my everything... i'll love you forever" or something along those lines. HELLO!! Wake up call! That's not love... that's like and just because you're going out for 2 months you think you're automatically in love? And now, it seems like 2 months is a long time for a relationship... what about the people who have been in one for years? That's love. Not this little we're going out now so we have to be in love.
Okay, that rant's over. Anyway... just so everyone knows, if I say "I love you" I mean it. You have a special place in my heart and I have no idea what I'd do without you. So, to all my true friends (and you know who you are) I love you guys so much.
